NABC Opens Nomination Process for 2019 Give Back Team

The NABC is now accepting nominations for the 2019 NABC Give Back Team, continuing its commitment to recognize men’s college basketball student-athletes who have made outstanding contributions through volunteerism and community service.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) is now accepting nominations for the 2019 NABC Give Back Team, continuing its commitment to recognize men’s college basketball student-athletes who have made outstanding contributions through volunteerism and community service.

“Each year in men’s college basketball, a large number of student-athletes make extraordinary and selfless contributions, enriching the lives of others locally, nationally and globally,” said Jim Haney, executive director of the NABC and NABC Foundation. “The Give Back Team provides an opportunity to recognize their outstanding accomplishments away from the court.”

NABC member basketball coaches and sports information directors may nominate college basketball student-athletes from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA®) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). An NABC selection committee will then select 10 members, five from NCAA Division I and five from NCAA Division II and III and the NAIA for the 2019 Give Back Team.
